Updated Post--CKMS Comprehensive Sexual Health Education

Dear CKMS Families,  

With apologies, the initial post had an incorrect form submitted.  The corrected form is linked below.  

Schools are required to teach Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) to all students in grades 5-12.  Our digital CSHE lessons provide medically and scientifically accurate information using a variety of resources.  You can review the digital lessons by visiting our Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Lessons posted on the district website.  More details are provided in the District Permission form, below.

Each year, parents/guardians are given a minimum of 30 days notice prior to the lessons being delivered and must opt their child in or out of CSHE lessons. Please provide your response to opt your child in or out of the district CSHE via the ParentSquare form.  

CKMS has not scheduled our Comprehensive Sexual Health Education lesson dates yet, but we will update you once we have.

UPDATE: Central Kitsap Middle School will be conducting our Comprehensive Sexual Health Education curriculum in all Science classes during the week of January 4-8, 2027. Please complete the attached permission form to either opt your student in or out of the curriculum. Thanks!
